Pakistani police say a roadside bomb has killed three soldiers in the southern port city of Karachi.

The bomb exploded early Friday near a vehicle carrying paramilitary troops. Four soldiers were wounded in the blast.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Pakistan's largest city and economic hub, Karachi, has been the scene of political and ethnic violence that has killed more than 1,000 people this year.
