A suicide bomber has struck a mosque in eastern Afghanistan, killing at least six people.
Friday's attack in Kunar province comes just three days after a suicide attack killed 55 people in the Afghan capital as Shi'ite pilgrims gathered near a shrine to mark the holy day of Ashura.
Authorities in Kunar say the blast in the Ghazi Abad district killed the local police chief, an intelligence officer, two other police officers and a civilian.
Provincial officials say the bomber detonated his explosives inside the mosque during Friday prayers.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
