Russian officials say a fire aboard a nuclear-powered icebreaker has killed two people in eastern Siberia near the Yenissei River.

Authorities say there was no radiation leak and the fire aboard the ship has been been put out. At least one person was injured in Thursday's blaze.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire.

The icebreaker was first put into service in 1990.
