Pakistani officials say a bomb has exploded near a police vehicle in Baluchistan province, killing at least two people.

Authorities say at least eight other people were wounded in the blast in the town of Dera Murad Jamali.

Baluch rebels have been fighting the government for decades, demanding greater independence and a larger share of the province's natural resources.
