U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has arrived in Mexico.

Biden landed in Mexico City late Sunday where he is scheduled to meet separately with Mexican President Felipe Calderon and the three top presidential candidates seeking to replace Mr. Calderon this year.

Border violence and drug smuggling are likely to top the list of topics for discussion.

Biden will travel to Honduras Tuesday to meet with President Porfirio Lobo and other regional heads of state to discuss drug policy and security issues.
