A Liverpool court has convicted nine members of Britain's Pakistani and Afghan community in Manchester of running a child sex ring involving girls as young as 13.
Prosecutors say the men supplied vulnerable teens with drugs and alcohol and “passed them around” for sex.
Prosecutors say no child should be exploited the way these young women were.
The head of the Ramadhan Foundation, a British-based Muslim group, says the nine defendants have brought shame on Britain's Muslim community.
