Voters in the tiny mountainous nation of Lesotho, in southern Africa, will cast ballots in a general election Saturday.

The vote features rivals from three political parties, including Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili of the new Democratic Congress.

His closest challenger is Mothejoa Metsing, who reportedly led to the movement to remove Mosisili as leader of the Lesotho Congress for Democracy.

The third candidate seeking to replace Mosisili is Tom Thabane of the All Basotho Convention.

Mosisili's reign began in 1998, during a time of civil unrest that left dozens of people dead.
