The death toll from landslides and floods that hit southern Bangladesh this week has risen to at least 110.
Days of torrential rain in and around the Chittagong port, along with the neighboring districts of Cox's Bazar and Bandarban, have also displaced more than 60,000 people.
Authorities on Thursday called off the rescue operation, after all the missing were accounted for.
Landslides flattened shanties late Tuesday, burying entire families as they slept — including several children.
Most road and rail links between Chittagong and the rest of the country were suspended Tuesday, although flights have resumed at the local airport.
Authorities were distributing food and water to those displaced by the monsoon floods — a common occurrence in the low-lying, densely-population nation of Bangladesh.
