The Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives has voted for the 33rd time to repeal President Barack Obama's health care reform.

Wednesday's vote was largely along party lines, 244 to 185. Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner says health care reform is too expensive and has not created jobs.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi called the vote to repeal “useless.” The Democratic-controlled Senate is not likely to vote on the repeal.

Health care reform is a major pillar of the Obama administration. It guarantees insurance for all Americans regardless of their finances or illnesses.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a key part of the law — the requirement that everyone buy insurance or face a tax — is constitutional.
