A man dressed in a police uniform has killed three members of the NATO security force in Afghanistan.
The joint command in Kabul said the three civilian contractors were killed in the attack Sunday in western Afghanistan. The attacker was later killed.
Separately, at least five NATO soldiers have been killed in roadside bombings over the past two days.
The alliance gave no information about the nationalities of the victims.
Roadside bombings are a favorite weapon of Taliban insurgents, hardline Islamists who are waging a campaign to remove the government of President Hamid Kharzai and take over power.
