Ethiopia's Tiki Gelana won the women's marathon Olympic gold medal through the rainy streets of London Sunday.

She finished the race at 2:23:07, setting a new Olympic record. Kenya's Priscah Jeptoo came in just five seconds later taking the silver, while Russia's Tatyana Petrova Arkhipova received the bronze.

Later Sunday, the world's fastest men will line up for the 100-meter race with fans looking to see if Jamaica's Usain Bolt will be able to keep his Olympic crown.

American tennis-playing sisters Serena and Venus Williams teamed up to win the women's doubles gold medal (against Czech pair of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka, who had to settle for the silver medal). Serena won the singles gold medal Saturday.

And Britain's Andy Murray beat Sweden's Roger Federer to win gold in the men's tennis final.

Meanwhile, China's Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng won the men's doubles final in badminton Sunday, completing the first ever clean sweep in all five Olympic badminton events.

China currently leads the overall medal count, followed by the United States and Great Britain.
