A Kenya police spokesman says two Ugandan military helicopters crashed in central Kenya, injuring five people on board.
The spokesman told a news conference that rescuers found the two missing helicopters on Mount Kenya Monday. He said the injured, including a seriously injured pilot, were taken to a hospital.
Earlier, rescuers found a third Ugandan helicopter that had made an emergency landing on Mount Kenya.
The police spokesman says investigators suspect bad weather caused the accidents.
The Ugandan helicopters were on their way to Somalia to join African Union peacekeepers fighting al-Shabab militants.
They took off from Entebbe, Uganda on Sunday.
A fourth helicopter traveling with the group landed safely in northeastern Kenya.
