Taliban Kill 8 Soldiers in NW Pakistan

Taliban militants have attacked an army post in northwest Pakistan, killing eight soldiers and wounding several others. Security officials say soldiers killed 10 militants in the fighting Wednesday in the South Waziristan tribal area near the Afghan border. Earlier reports said the militants had killed nine soldiers. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
