Authorities say a car bomb has killed at least six people at a market in northwest Pakistan.

Friday's blast hit in Matani near the city of Peshawar and wounded at least 14 people.

No one claimed responsibility for the bombing, but officials have blamed the Pakistani Taliban for such attacks in the past.

Peshawar is the capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, which borders Afghanistan.
