Chinese state media say an earthquake in southwestern China has killed at least seven people and injured 20 others.
The official Xinhua news agency says the 5.7-magnitude quake and several aftershocks hit Yunnan and Guizhou provinces Friday, damaging more than 20,000 homes in the area.
The U.S. Geological Survey measured the largest quake at 5.6-magnitude and said it struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.
