China's premier visited with earthquake victims Saturday in southwest China.
Wen Jiabao arrived in the impoverished region late Friday, hours after back-to-back tremors killed at least 80 people and injured more than 700.
Chinese state media warned the death toll from the earthquakes could rise because impassable roads and downed communications have made collecting information difficult.
The shallow 5.6-magnitude quakes hit Yunnan and Guizhou provinces.
Officials said emergency aid is being sent to Yunnan, where more than 100,000 people have been evacuated.
