U.S. President Barack Obama is campaigning in the key election state of Florida Saturday, just two days after accepting the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.
Mr. Obama's appearance in Florida comes a little more than a week after Republicans held their national convention in the southern state, formally nominating former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as their candidate for the November 6 election.
Romney is spending the day Saturday campaigning in the eastern state of Virginia.
Both Florida and Virginia are so-called swing states, closely-contested battleground states that are likely to determine the outcome of the race.
