U.S. President Barack Obama says there is “no justification” for the “senseless violence” that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other American staff members at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Mr. Obama spoke in the White House Rose Garden with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by his side Wednesday. Mr. Obama said he is already coordinating around the world to increase security at U.S. diplomatic posts.

He said the United States will bring the attackers to justice.

He said Americans stand “united” in keeping the four “extraordinary” staffers who died in Tuesday's attack in their thoughts and prayers.
