Officials in Iraq say a wave of bombings has hit the country, killing at least 13 people.

Authorities say the Sunday blasts also wounded more than 30 people.

The deadliest attack was a series of three car bombings in Taji, just north of the capital, Baghdad. Officials says the bombings killed eight people and wounded more than 20 others.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the deadly explosions.
