Palestinian officials say an Israeli air strike Saturday killed two men and wounded two other people in Gaza.
The officials in Gaza said a senior Salafist leader and another activist were killed in the northern town of Jabaliya. They said that one of the two people wounded in the attack is a teenage boy.
Israel's military said its aircraft fired at several terror activist sites in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket fired into Israel Friday. No one was reported hurt in that attack, but a bedroom in an Israeli house was sprayed with shrapnel.
Israel and Gaza's Hamas rulers have mostly kept a truce since a short war almost four years ago. But in recent days the two sides have exchanged fire, following an Israeli attack on the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
Israeli officials say they are targeting global jihad activists.
