Officials in eastern Kenya say a grenade attack on a church Sunday killed one person and wounded 13 others, some seriously.
The attack in the town of Garissa took place at a church inside a police compound.
Authorities say one policeman died after the attack.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
Kenyan authorities are investigating whether the attackers are linked to the Somali militant group al-Shabab.
Militants have targeted Kenyans since the country sent troops to Somalia to help fight al-Shabab rebels linked to al-Qaida.
In July, two attacks at churches in Garissa killed nearly 20 people.
