Bangladesh authorities say firefighters are battling a new blaze in a garment factory building outside the capital, Dhaka, one day after a deadly blaze at another factory.
Fire officials say Monday's fire is in a building at least 10 stories high, housing several factories.
There is no immediate word about possible casualties. Media reports say some workers have been able to escape the fire by jumping onto the roofs of nearby buildings.
Another fire tore through a multi-story garment factory late Saturday, also on the outskirts of the capital, killing at least 110 people. Some workers jumped to their deaths before rescue workers arrived on the scene.
Bangladesh has about 4,000 garment factories that make clothes for international brands. The country earns about $20 billion annually from exporting clothing.
