Here are the prices of some key commodities traded in New York on Wednesday:
Crude oil prices fell back 24 cents to close at $96.65 per barrel, spurred on by a stronger dollar and higher interest rates in China.
Coffee futures lost 2 cents to finish at $2.67 per pound.
Copper prices fell 1 cent to $4.33 a pound.
Cocoa prices were down $26 to finish the day's trading at $3,202 a ton.
In Chicago trading, wheat prices dropped 9 cents to $6.27 per bushel.
Rice prices advanced 28 cents to $15.57 per hundredweight.
