Indonesian authorities say a landslide in a village in South Sumatra province has killed at least four children and injured two others.
Officials said Saturday that the children were playing under a cliff in the village of Kemahan Lama when a landslide, triggered by torrential rain, buried them Friday. The children ranged in age from seven to 10. Villagers continued to dig through tons of rock and mud Saturday to find any other possible victims.
Seasonal downpours cause dozens of landslides and flash floods each year in Indonesia.
