The Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association says it needs more protection from the government.
The group threatened Friday to stop supplying NATO within 24 hours if the government fails to recover snatched oil tankers and kidnapped drivers.
The leader of the group says while eight oil tankers have gone missing and several drivers have been killed or kidnapped, the government has not made any attempt to arrest the culprits.
Earlier this month, gunmen set fire to seven tankers carrying fuel to NATO forces in neighboring Afghanistan. That attack took place in the Khairpur district of Sindh province.
