Turkish authorities say a roadside bomb exploded in southeast Turkey Thursday, wounding several soldiers traveling in a mini bus.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack in Hakkari province, near the Iraq border.
Kurdish rebels fighting for autonomy in the region has killed some 40 Turkish soldiers since July.
Turkish troops retaliated with six days if air attacks, killing 100 rebels of the Kurdistan Workers Party , based in northern Iraq.
The military said it would continue such operations until the PKK is “rendered ineffective” but that it was showing “necessary sensitivity” to avoid harming civilians.
Turkey, the United States, and the European Union consider the PKK a terrorist group.
