Palestinian and Lebanese security officials say a bomb has exploded in a refugee camp in Lebanon, wounding at least six people.

The blast occurred late Monday in the Ein el-Hilweh refugee camp near the southern port city of Sidon. It exploded when a worker was collecting the garbage.

The camp, known for its lawlessness, is home to about 50,000 Palestinian refugees.
