The White House has announced that British Prime Minister David Cameron will make an official visit to Washington next month.
The announcement Friday says Mr. Cameron and his wife, Samantha, are scheduled to arrive on March 13 for a two-day stay.
U.S. President Barack Obama and the British leader will discuss the war in Afghanistan and increasing concerns in connection with Iran's nuclear program. Also on the agenda are May's NATO and Group of Eight summits in Chicago.
A White House statement, in announcing the visit, says the president and the prime minister have developed a “strong personal bond” since Mr. Cameron took power in 2010.
Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, visited London last year.
