Indian officials say a teenage boy has died and nearly 200 people have been hospitalized in Mumbai after suffering suspected allergic reactions to contaminated powder paint used in Holi, an Indian festival of color.

Vast amounts of paint are sprinkled on revelers during Holi, a Hindu festival which celebrates the victory of good over evil.

Indian doctors caution the public each year about the use of cheap, chemical-based powder paint, which can be a major health hazard.
