The Afghan government says it has reached an agreement with the United States that will govern controversial NATO night raids on Afghan homes.

The foreign ministry says the deal will be signed Sunday.

The U.S. has not commented on the agreement.

Night raids have been a constant source of tension between the Afghan government and the U.S. military.
