Armenia's main opposition party says it will ask the country's top court to throw out the results of Sunday's parliamentary election, alleging fraud.

The Armenian National Congress, led by former President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, won seven seats in the 131-seat parliament. The ruling Republican Party won 68 seats.

ANC accuses the Republicans of vote buying, pressuring voters, and tampering with election materials.

The Republicans say the election was democratic. International election monitors reported irregularities, but praised Armenia for a peaceful vote.

In 2008, a disputed presidential election led to violent protests that killed about 10 people.
