Army bomb disposal experts in Northern Ireland removed what they call a “viable explosive device” from a small plane Monday at an airport.
Police shut down the main road to and from St. Angelo airport near Enniskillen.
Authorities have given no other details on the bomb or who may have been responsible.
Occasional violence and threats of terrorism still continue in Northern Ireland despite the power-sharing between Catholics and Protestants that emerged from the 1998 Good Friday peace accords.
