Gunmen opened fire on a bus in southern Pakistan Friday, killing seven people.
Police say several others were wounded in the attack, which took place on a highway in the remote Kazi Ahmed district of Sindh province.
The bus was on its way from the southern port city of Karachi to the town of Kohat in the northwestern province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Authorities were unsure of the motive for the attack.
The state-run Associated Press of Pakistan said President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the “brutal act” and ordered the culprits be brought to justice.
