The U.S. and China say they will hold another round of human rights talks next week.
The U.S. State Department and official Chinese media said Friday that the talks will be held in Washington on July 23 and 24.
The U.S. side will be led by U.S. Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Michael Posner. Chen Xu, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs will lead the Chinese delegation.
This will be the 17th round of the talks. The last session was held in April of last year.
