Spanish firefighters are battling wind-driven wildfires raging along the border between Spain and France that have killed four people since Sunday.
The government of Catalonia said Monday that the fire has so far burned 13,000 hectares of land near the port of Porbou and the border town of La Junquera.
French officials say they have the flames under control on their side of the border. They are coordinating with Spain to provide water-bombing aircraft and other resources.
