Passenger Airplane Crashes in Nigeria

A passenger airplane has crashed in Nigeria’s second main city of Lagos, reportedly carrying 153 people on board. Officials from Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority say the Dana airline flight was travelling Sunday from Abuja to Lagos. No information on casualties was reported, but the French news agency reports officials saying there are no survivors.

At least 10 people have died in Ghana after a cargo plane crashed into a bus while attempting to land. Officials said the Nigerian Allied Air jet slammed into a minivan at Accra airport on Saturday. Emergency officials are on the scene.
