A strong 7.2 magnitude earthquake has shaken the Pacific island nation of Fiji. There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage and no tsunami warning has been issued. Friday morning’s quake was centered about 120 kilometers southwest of Ndoi Island, 593 kilometers below the surface of the Pacific.

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake hit the Indian capital, New Delhi, late Wednesday, jolting residents out of their beds. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Witnesses say the tremors, which lasted several seconds, shook buildings in and around the city just before midnight. The earthquake was also felt in New Delhi’s suburbs.

An earthquake hit the Indian capital, New Delhi, late Wednesday, jolting residents out of their beds. Witnesses say the tremors, which lasted several seconds, shook buildings in and around the city just before midnight. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Indian media report that the quake’s magnitude measured 6.6.

An earthquake struck northern Argentina Friday. The U.S. Geological Survey says the 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Friday morning, 130 kilometers southeast of Santiago del Estero. The quake was centered about 600 kilometers underground. There were no immediate reports of damage.
