Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika has been hospitalized. The 78-year-old president was taken to a hospital in Lilongwe Thursday for an undetermined condition. Reuters news agency reports the leader was rushed to the hospital and quotes a medical source who said Mr. Mutharika was unconscious. No further details were immediately available.
