Taliban Kill 9 Soldiers in NW Pakistan

Taliban militants have attacked an army post in northwest Pakistan, killing nine soldiers and wounding several others. Security officials say the attack happened Wednesday in the South Waziristan tribal area near the Afghan border. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

Pakistan Introduces New Identification System At Borders

Pakistan is replacing a U.S.-developed personal identification system at its airports and border crossings with a domestically developed software.
