Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has named Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hesham Kandil as the country’s new prime minister. State media said Tuesday President Morsi asked Mr. Kandil to form a new Cabinet. Mr. Kandil replaces former prime minister Kamal al Ganzouri, who resigned last month.
