Greeks struggle as they wait to receive free onions and other vegetables offered by farmers in Syntagma Square. Farmers from the Thebes and Viotia district north of Athens handed out tons of agricultural products to protest media reports that waste from local industries has polluted their crops with hexavalent chromium, making it dangerous for consumption.
