Police in Arizona say five people have been killed in a series of shootings that forced officials to lock down a school and government buildings.
Police spokesman Clint Norred says one other person was injured in the shootings Thursday in Arizona's Yuma County.
He says the shootings are connected.
Norred would not confirm whether the suspected shooter was alive or dead, but a local newspaper reported the man took his own life.
Authorities are investigating the motive for the shootings.
