Crude oil prices rose more than $1 to settle at $97.24 a barrel.

Coffee prices fell 5 cents to end at $2.53 per pound.

Copper prices rose 3 cents to close at $4.41 per pound.

Cocoa futures gained $12 to end the day's trading at $3,168 a ton.

In Chicago trading, the price of wheat fell 12 cents to close at $6.95 a bushel.

Rice prices lost 1 cent to finish at $17 a hundredweight
