Construction has started in Beijing on what will be the Chinese capital’s tallest building.

The 510-meter skyscraper, China Goblet, is expected to be completed in five years.

Construction began Monday — barely a year after the China World Trade Center Tower 3 became Beijing’s tallest building at 330 meters.

The new building in Beijing’s central business district will be shaped like an ancient Chinese wine vessel, or zun.
