Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has overseen the signing of two nuclear agreements with China during a trip to the Asian nation.
The deals were part of a host of agreements made following closed-door talks between Mr. Erdogan and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao Monday.
Chinese officials say the two also talked about international issues, including Syria.
The trip is Turkey's first prime ministerial visit to China in 27 years. Mr. Erdogan received a red-carpet welcome with anthems and an honor guard in Beijing Monday after traveling Sunday to China's far west Xinjiang region.
The restive area is home to China's minority ethnic Uighurs, who are ethnically related to Turks. Turkey wants to establish an industrial zone in Xinjiang.
Mr. Erdogan, who is heading a delegation of 300 businessmen, will conclude his visit in Shanghai.
