President Barack Obama pointed out as Secretary Clinton did minutes earlier that Libyans helped some U.S. diplomats find safety and carried the body of U.S ambassador Chris Stevens to the hospital.
He said it is “especially tragic” that Stevens died in Libya because that is “a place he fought to save.”
Mr. Obama said Americans will “never ever forget” that their freedom is sustained by those who fight for it. He added that no act of terrorism will stop the resolve of the U.S., saying “make no mistake. Justice will be done.”
