Asian stock markets closed mostly lower Friday. Tokyo’s Nikkei index lost two-thirds of a percent , to close at 9,492. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index dropped 1.31 percent , to end at 22,950. Tokyo Stocks, Dollar Down

Japanese share prices ended lower Friday, while the dollar slipped against the yen. Tokyo’s Nikkei index lost two-thirds of a percent , to close at 9,492. In currency trading, the dollar was selling at 80.61 yen, down three-tenths of a yen from late Thursday. Gold was trading at $1,531.78 an ounce.
